Iman and Beyoncé Rock the Red Carpet at 2011 Met Gala

A host of A-list stars of film, fashion, television and music looked haute in couture designs at the Costume Institute Benefit Gala in New York last night held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The theme of this year’s Costume Institute exhibit and Monday’s gala was “Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty,” honoring the British couturier who ended his own life last year.
Designers worn at the gala included Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney, Calvin Klein, Rachel Roy, Jason Wu, Emillio Pucci, Vera Wang, Chanel, Zac Posen and Marchesa, just to name a few. Dazzling jewels that we would give our left arm for that adorned the stars came from Fred Leighton, Harry Winston, Eddie Borgo, H. Stern and Van Cleef & Arpels.
For those who share an appreciation and passion for fashion, you will love some of our favorite looks below of some of the best-dressed fashions from Iman, Rihanna and “Queen B” herself, Beyoncé as well as an inside look from Vogue.
