To release stress, you must pause and give your body the opportunity to go into a different "mode". You want to "change your vibrations" from the inside.
These recommendations are taken from DYNAMIC SELF HEALING COURSE – Volume One -- (Chapter 6 "How To Change Your Resonance")
The first thing to do is become conscious and aware of your thoughts and feelings. When they are negative - or when you are feeling uneasy, disturbed, anxious, etc. - you KNOW you are resonating with what you don't want.
Try to figure out what is bothering you. ALL feelings, subtle or intense, are preceded by a thought or outside stimulant. Do whatever you need to do to RE-FOCUS your attention, so that you change your state, which changes your resonance. The following "activities" will change your state IN THE MOMENT, and, if practiced as part of your routine of life, they will help to permanently reprogram you:
*Take rhythmic breaths - any rhythm is fine (through your nose, unless your nose is so clogged up that you can't)
*"Sigh" deeply - if you're in a state of tension/anxiety only, not if you're depressed.
*Long breaths in/rapid, strong breaths out - Breathe in through the nose and out through the mouth. This breath will wake you up from depression.
*Alter your physiology - Tony Robbins is big on this one. Change the way you stand, the way you hold your shoulders and head, the way you walk; look up instead of down, smile instead of frown, etc.
*Talk to yourself until you change your perception and thoughts and see the situation from a new perspective.
*Talk to someone else who is willing to listen, and/or can help you see things differently.
*Visualize - create a mental picture of what you want, in full detail.
*Affrim - repeat meaningful, inspiring (to you) affirmations/statements.
*Meditate - sit quietly and breathe gently; even five minutes is beneficial; more is better.
*Pray positively - as if you believe you deserve the "good" in life.
*Give gratitude - think of what you have to be thankful for.
*Relax - lie down, relax and listen to peaceful music, a subliminal or "healing" tape.
*Be entertained - watch a TV program you enjoy; rent a video; go to a movie, etc.
*Take a brisk walk - bring your walkman and listen to a positive tape or uplifting music.
*Exercise - jog, run, lift weights, go to the gym, go bowling, etc.
*Movement - do yoga postures, tai chi, flowing dance movements, etc.
*Play with your kids (unless, of course, this makes you feel more negative).
*Hold your pet - and/or stroke, or play with him or her (or watch your fish).
*Do something creative - sing, draw, dance, write, play drums, paint, play the piano, mold clay, finger paint, etc.
*Play at your hobby (if you don't have one, and have been thinking about it, pursue that hobby, for it will help you in the future to change your resonance).
*Read from a motivating or inspiring book - a few pages will do as long as it's enough to change your focus.
*Listen to a few moments of a tape that informs, inspires and/or motivates you.
*Laugh - if you can't think of anything funny, read from a funny book, watch a funny TV show or video, or do whatever it takes to laugh. Norman Cousins watched Candid Camera videos and Marx Brothers movies to recover from his terminal illness.
These are NOT listed in order of "importance". At any given time, whatever re-focuses YOUR attention and changes your resonance is the right one or ones for you. In addition, one or preferably several, of the above should also be part of your daily routine - practiced EVEN WHEN YOU ARE FEELING GREAT!
More than 25 percent of battered women remain in a relationship with their abuser. Are you one of those women who stay? Sue Else, president of The National Network to End Domestic Violence, shares the six steps to protect yourself and your children.
1) Listen to yourself and make plans for your safety.
If you feel afraid, there's probably a good reason for your fear. Don't hesitate to reach out for help.
2) Talk to an advocate at a domestic violence program.
These advocates can provide you with support and help and make plans to keep you and your children safe.
3) Talk to your kids about how to keep themselves safe if the situation were to escalate.
This may mean teaching them to call 911 or run to a neighbor's house if they feel threatened.
4) Make copies of all important paperwork.
Make copies of social security numbers, birth certificates, immunization records, and keep this documentation in a safe place.
5) Seek legal advice.
Try to locate an attorney who has experience dealing with domestic violence cases.
6) Seek a therapist.
If your partner is willing to work on his or her behavior, seek counseling. Even if your mate is unwilling to change, or doesn't view the behavior as violent, a good therapist can help you understand that the abuse is not about you.

In Chris Brown news that has nothing to do with lawsuits, courts, or Twitter rants, the singer is now apparently a blond.
Perhaps trying to stir up some buzz for his new album F.A.M.E., Brown posted a shot of his new do on Twitter late Saturday night with the caption: "look at me now." In the photo, he appears to be enjoying a dinner with friends, perhaps celebrating his change in hairstyle?
We don't think the look warrants a dinner celebration, but do what the man says and have a look. Then weigh in on if you think he pulls off the blond locks or if you think he looks absolutely ridiculous.

Come on Chris we love get it together!
The King's Speech will lead Sunday night with seven Academy Awards. Inception will score more statuettes than The Social Network. Alice in Wonderland will make some magic.
We've called Best Picture, Best Actress, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actress and Best Supporting Actor. Now we're calling every category—and every winner.
Wanna see what we came up with?
RELATED: Five potential wins that would totally weird you out
Picture: The King's Speech, 'cause not even Charlie Sheen could deny this reality.
Actor: Javier Bardem, Biutiful—'cause every ballot should feature at least one Hail Mary pick.
Actress: Natalie Portman, The Black Swan—'cause even No Strings Attached made money. (Translation: This is her year.)
Supporting Actor: Geoffrey Rush, The King's Speech—'cause this isn't the Hail Mary pick you think it is.
Supporting Actress: Melissa Leo, The Fighter—'cause we couldn't quite talk ourselves into Hailee Steinfeld.
Director: David Fincher, The Social Network—'cause we have a suspicion that Tom Hooper isn't famous enough to win for The King's Speech.
Original Screenplay: The King's Speech, 'cause without the screenplay Colin Firth would be speechless.
Adapted Screenplay: The Social Network, 'cause Aaron Sorkin rarely loses a war of words.
Animated Feature: Toy Story 3. 'Nuff said.
Foreign-Language Film: Biutiful, 'cause Julia Roberts' campaign to get Bardem a nod presumably resulted in getting viewers (and voters) for this Mexican downer.
Art Direction: Inception, 'cause we figure Alice in Wonderland will get dinged for being too virtual world-y.
Costume Design: Alice in Wonderland, 'cause if Johnny Depp's get-up isn't the definition of costume design, we don't know what is.
Original Song: "Coming Home," Country Strong—'cause, one, we can't believe how not good the Randy Newman Toy Story entry is, and, two, we believe Gwyneth Paltrow is on a roll.
Original Score: The King's Speech, 'cause right around this point on the ballot we figure tuckered-out Oscar voters take the path of least resistance, and go for the frontrunner.
Film Editing: The King's Speech. (Ditto.)
Cinematography: The King's Speech. (Tritto.)
Makeup: Barney's Version, 'cause, according to our Luke Y. Thompson, The Way Back is out of place here, and according to us, the universe will not allow The Wolfman to win as many Oscars as Toy Story 3.
Sound Editing: Inception, 'cause this techie piece in The Atlantic reminded us how crucial sound cues are to Christopher Nolan's dream worlds.
Sound Mixing: The King's Speech, the same Atlantic article reminded us how crucial sound is to a movie about a speech.
Visual Effects: Inception, 'cause we figure Alice in Wonderland will get dinged for being a 3-D conversion.
Documentary Feature: Inside Job, 'cause, one, Waiting for Superman isn't in the running, and, two, we're not really into the Banksy storyline.
Documentary Short: "Strangers No More," 'cause it's a feel-good movie about the Middle East.
Animated Short: "The Gruffalo," 'cause the critters are cute, and 'cause Pixar, which produced nominee "Day & Night," will be taken care of in Animated Feature.
Live-Action Short: "Na Wewe," 'cause it feels like it's about something. (And it is: Genocide in Africa.)

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - R&B singer Toni Braxton is the latest former music star to get a reality show.
Cable network WE tv will follow Braxton, her mom and her four sisters (all aspiring singers, natch) in "Braxton Family Values."
The first of ten episodes bows April 12.
The female-targeted net will also bow its own version of "Cake Boss," a popular show on rival U.S. network TLC that kick-started the bake shop reality trend.
"Staten Island Cakes" follows 21-year-old Vinny Buzzetta, the colorful proprietor of the family-run The Cake Artist. The docuseries premieres June 21.
"WE tv's programing showcases the wild ride of relationships during life's defining moments," Kim Martin, president and general manager, WE tv and Wedding Central, said in a statement.
Additionally, the network announced a refreshed tagline: Life as WE Know It.
"As women, we share a connection and a sense of community based on similar life experiences and situations," explained Martin. "It's that particular point of view that defines 'life as WE know it.'"
So as I was making my way downtown in NYC 2 days ago, I came across this very billboard. I was literally sitting in traffic with my mouth open with shock.
A 3-story-tall-billboard strategically placed at the busy intersection of Watts and 6th Ave. in Soho is causing a sh*tstorm of controversy across the nation. And today it's hitting the fan. Check out the "right-to-life" extremist's newest antic to get attention via shock value...at black children's expense...when you read on...
The arguments against this ad even being allowed to be put up in New York state that this is purely irresponsible, regardless of the message's meaning. Children who view the ad cannot process complicated issues or underlying messages the way adults can, so this runs the very high risk of scaring and/or humiliating the child reading it.
Here's the run-down of the who and what and why people are so up in arms this week:
"The most dangerous place for an African American is in the womb," reads the inflammatory ad sponsored by the Dallas-based pro-life group "Life Always."
The three-story billboard at the corner of Sixth Avenue and Watts Street features an elementary-school aged African-American girl looking out at viewers with a plaintive expression, wearing a bow in her hair and a sleeveless pink jumper dress. The ad directs passersby to the group's website, thatsabortion.com.
Life Always leader, Pastor Stephen Broden, who is African-American, said that his group intentionally released a billboard that would elicit a reaction.
"The black community is oblivious to what is going on with this practice," Broden, 58, said about abortion rates in the African-American community.
"This is far from hyperbole, these are facts and statistically back up that abortion is having an impact on the demography of African-Americans," he said.
According to New York City's latest Vital Statistics report with data from 2009, two out of five pregnancies in New York City end in an abortion, giving the city an overall abortion rate of 41 percent.
Among black women in New York City, the abortion rate is reportedly 59.8 percent, while the abortion rate for Hispanic women is 41.3 percent and the rate for white women is 20.4 percent. The rate for abortions among Asian women in New York is 22.7 percent.
Public Advocate Bill de Blasio and City Council Speaker Christine Quinn both criticized the ad, with de Blasio calling for it to come down.
"To refer to a woman's legal right to an abortion as a 'genocidal plot' is not only absurd, but it is offensive to women and to communities of color," Quinn wrote in a statement of Broden's claim that the high abortion rates among minority women amounted to genocide.
Mae Collazo, 38, who works across the street from the billboard, said she found the billboard incredibly offensive.
"I don't like it all, what is that supposed to mean?" said Collazo, who is African American, "It makes it sound like all we do is abort our children."
Collazo added that she didn't think the higher percentage of abortions registered for African American women in New York necessarily reflect what is actually going on in the community, and questioned the source of the statistics and whether abortions conducted at private clinics are included in the statistics.
But some passersby agreed with the ad.
Patti D'Agostini, 48, who works at the Door Youth Center on Broome Street, said she works with many teen mothers.
"I don't believe in abortion," D'Agostini said. "Kids shouldn't be having sex until they're 18 anyways."
Broden said his organization will remain in the city for another three weeks before kicking off similar ad campaigns in six other cities around the country.
Also, people believe it is unnecessarily targeting black women--making this an extremely racist and humiliating and disgusting "ad".
But, as usual, the folks behind the ad (the leader is a black pastor from Dallas named Stephen Broden of the Life Always organization) defend their actions saying they put the ad in a majority white neighborhood in order to get attention. And they say the ad is actually for the greater good of showing the bad side of abortions, especially for black women, so people will be less likely to get them.
I have my own views on this topic and this specific billboard itself, and the fact that essentially this "pastor" is saying he's willing to exploit and humiliate black women at the "bigger" price of publicity, but I digress. Living in the south and also doing my undergrad years in Texas made me privy to these very issues and types of people on almost a daily basis. So I'm shocked, but I shouldn't be.
But how do you feel about this o fab ones? And what measures, if any, should be taken now that this advertisement has permeated the nation.
You can call Christian Siriano a lot of things, but lazy ain’t one of them.
The winner of season 4 of “Project Runway” has had design projects with Puma, LG Lotus Phone, Bluefly, Victoria’s Secret (makeup), Payless Shoes, Gaia Online and even Fierce Mamas (maternity wear).
In between appearances on “Ugly Betty” and Estelle’s music video for “No Substitute Love,” he’s designed his eponymous collection with splashy runway shows during New York Fashion Week, catapulting himself to the top of the apparel pyramid with front-row celebs and backstage buzz.
Now he’s partnering with Spiegel for a capsule collection that will debut April 4 at Spiegel.com. Look for a big marketing push in March.
Siriano came up with 10 special occasion dresses (cocktail, prom, evening gown, tailored dinner suit, etc.) that will retail between $49 and $800.

Beyonce graces the March issue of L'Officiel Paris, but it's a controversial photo of the superstar inside the French fashion magazine that's getting the most attention.
The glossy is celebrating its 90th anniversary, and Beyonce marks the occasion with an homage to Nigerian musician and humanitarian Fela Kuti; Beyonce's husband, Jay-Z, is a producer on the acclaimed Broadway musical "Fela!," based on the icon's life, music and courageous defiance against government corruption. In a statement (via Jezebel), L'Officiel describes the Feli-inspired photo of Beyonce -- sporting blackface, tribal paint and a dress designed by her mom -- as a "return to her African roots, as you can see on the picture, on which her face was voluntarily darkened."
Not everyone is a fan of the editorial vision and tribute to Kuti; the image simultaneously inspires and provokes. Writes Jezebel's Dodai Stewart: "It's fun to play with fashion and makeup, and fashion has a history of provocation and pushing boundaries. But when you paint your face darker in order to look more 'African,' aren't you reducing an entire continent, full of different nations, tribes, cultures and histories, into one brown color?"
"It's one thing to feel moved by Fela Kuti, and quite another to treat blackness as a fashion accessory, like a pair of glittery heels you put on because it looks cool," Stewart adds.
Charing Ball, a writer at the Atlanta Post, blasts the fashion industry's recent obsession with blackface as an accepted form of racism passed off as art. "Blackface is not fashion forward or edgy and, in my opinion, it is just flat-out offensive," writes Ball, incriminating Beyonce in perpetuating the offense.
Blackface has been particularly trendy among European fashion titles; in October 2009, French Vogue featured a white model in blackface a year after the Italian edition of Vogue ran a much-hyped issue with all-black models as a response to the lack of diversity within the industry.
Photos: See Beyonce's top hairstyles
Meanwhile, Beyonce and other black stars have had their skin lightened on the cover of glossy women's mags and in advertisements; see Beyonce's 2008 L'Oreal ad compared with a real photo of the singer. See also: Actress Gabby Sidibe's 2010 Elle magazine cover wherein her dark skin appeared several tones lighter.
"The message we're getting from the fashionistas," Stewart writes, "is that it's bad to actually have dark skin, but totally cool to pretend you have it."
Beyonce will no doubt maintain a diplomatic stance on the photoshoot. But, for once -- for once! -- it would be refreshing to hear her speak her mind and have a stance on something beyond her music.

KIM Kardashian and her family made $65 million last year.
The showbiz clan banked the incredible sum from their reality TV shows, which include Keeping Up With the Kardashians, advertising deals and personal appearances, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
But matriarch Kris Jenner isn’t happy with that staggering sum and now wishes she had more children like Kim Kardashian to keep the brand going.
The 55-year-old star – who has six kids, Kourtney, Khloe, Kim, Robert Jr., Kendall and Kylie Jenner, from two marriages, and four stepchildren - told the publication: “My fantasy is to have ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians Season 26’. Who knew it would be this profitable? I should have had more kids.”
Some of the fees charged by the family include anything up to $250,000 to have Kim appear at an event, $25,000 each for personal appearances by Khloe and Kourtney, while Kris’ husband, former Olympic champion Bruce Jenner, can charge up to $10,000 for appearances.
It has also been claimed that 30-year-old Kim can receive figures up to $25,000 for mentioning or linking to companies or products on her twitter page – which is followed by 6 million people.
Kris acts as the manager of the entire family and receives 10 per cent of everything they make, and she has revealed their plans to open a shop at The Mirage Resort and Casino in Las Vegas which will sell celebrity-themed products.
She said: “We'll take Kim in a bikini and put her on a beach towel. So you would be laying on a Kardashian at the pool.”

We all have our regrets, epecially when it comes to fashion!
Many celebrities and fashionistas attend runway shows at New York Fashion Week, but even the most fabulous women make style missteps from time to time. We hit the tents and asked every star we could speak with the same question: “What was your worst fashion moment ever?” Some celebs were reluctant to answer, but many laughed and happily shared their past outfit disasters. Here are their honest and hilarious answers along with many of the horrible looks in question—yes, we tried our best to track them all down. Sorry, ladies!
But the one star that I want to give a A++++ is to Fashion Police Kelly Osbourne, singer/model/tv host and daughter of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne.
She as transformed into a beautiful young lady!

According to the singer herself, it's a certain Oscar-winning actress who, like her, is an Italian-American New Yorker with sass to spare.
During a Friday radio interview on SiriusXM's The Morning Mash Up, the 24-year-old singer (real name: Stefani Germanotta) was asked who should play her in a movie about her life.
PHOTOS: Celeb lookalikes!
"I've always been a big fan of Rosario Dawson," the star mused at first. "Oh, you know what? I would have Marisa Tomei play me. I am such a Marisa Tomei fan," the "Born This Way" chanteuse said of Tomei, 46, who won an Academy Award for playing a wise-cracking "guidette" in 1992's My Cousin Vinny and has kept busy with high-profile movie roles ever since.
"All my friends call me Marisa when I get angry," Gaga explained. "Because my New York accent just flies out of my body and I start smacking my gum."

As for Gaga one day becoming a movie actress herself, it's definitely a possibility, she said. "I think at some point, yes," she said. "I think I'm sort of destined for that screen at some point."

On Valentine's Day -- the day after she perplexed fans with her egg-y entrance at the Grammys -- Gaga spent the romantic day with some very special friends.
"I was in my bed with tons of shoes," she said. "I was holding all my shoes, my Valentines."

WHY WE LOVE IT
January Jones looked effortlessly chic in a celadon design dressed down with undone locks and electric blue liner.
Fantasia Barrino - Grammy winner Fantasia Barrino has made no secret of her love, admiration and respect for the Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin. So when it was announced that Franklin would receive an all-star tribute at last week's Grammy's Fantasia Barrino was apparently expecting an invitation. Instead it was Christina Aguilera, Yolanda Adams, Jennifer Hudson, Martina McBride and others - Not Barrino - so she boycotted the event all together.
"They were honoring someone who is my idol, Aretha Franklin, and there is no way I could have sat there and not got the happy feet and wanting to jump on the mic because she is my favorite so I felt like, you know, at the end of the day I should have been on that stage".
Fantasia is reportedly also in talks to potentially play Aretha Franklin in the Queen's bio-pic! So do you agree with Fantasia Barrino's decision?

Kelley, who penned the pilot, and Bill D'Elia (Boston Legal, The Practice) are executive producing. Jeffrey Reiner (The Event) is set to direct.
Kelley, also behind freshman legal drama Harry's Law, had brought the project to the network once before, but NBC reportedly passed due to executive reshuffling.
At this year's winter Television Critics Assn. press tour, the veteran showrunner hinted to The Hollywood Reporter that the network, headed by new entertainment chief Bob Greenblatt, would be a "good home" for the project.
THR reported last October that WBTV was developing a modern-day TV reboot of the classic iconic heroine with Kelley attached.
The news had come after nearly a decade of Warner Bros. and producer Joel Silver attempting to launch the property for the big screen. Several actresses had come into the fray during that time, including A-lister Angelina Jolie, and at one point, Joss Whedon was set to write and direct the film adaptation in 2005. (He has The Avengers on tap.)
Though the 1975-79 TV series starring Lynda Carter is the most memorable in pop culture, broadcast has had trouble developing a successful female-centric action series, with NBC's modernized Bionic Woman failing to grab viewers.
This pilot season, networks are looking again to popular franchises and formats. ABC is betting on a contemporary reboot of Charlie's Angels, while NBC is adapting British series Prime Suspect with Maria Bello finalizing a deal to play the lead role.

Selena Gomez: Best Pink Lipstick
In a shimmery champagne toned gown, Gomez kept things simple and monochromatic, save for the punchy bubblegum pink gloss on her lips. Makeup artist Karan Mitchell used the Cover Girl Lip Perfection Lip Color in Siren on Gomez. It's not a flashy color, but rather just a touch brighter than her natural lip color.

Katy Perry: Best Two-Toned Eye Shadow
Makeup artist Jake Bailey swept lavender cream eye shadow across the lid and followed with a dusting of springy green shadow on the bottom lashline. "Katy's look was angelic, sparkly and ethereal," said Bailey. "I wanted to play off the textures in the dress and wings." (Make Up For Ever Glitter provided that extra dose of bling.)

Dianna Agron: Best Winged Eye Shadow
Avon makeup artist Jillian Dempsey gave the actress sculpted, winged-out shadow and a soft, peach-toned lip. "I wanted to create a rockabilly feel with an '80s punk twist," said Dempsey. "I spent a really long time on her eye makeup." After rimming her top and bottom lashlines with Jillian Dempsey for AVON Professional Kohl Eyeliner, she followed with chocolate brown eye shadow on the lids, using a folded tissue as her guide to perfect the exaggerated cat-eye shape.

Rihanna: Best Bob
The Song of the Year nominee kissed goodbye her corkscrew curls in favor of a touchable above-the-shoulders bob. "Because she was wearing a strapless dress, we decided to go a little shorter with the hair," said Rihanna's hairstylist, Ursula Stephen. "We also were in search of a new red—and we found it!" A deep side part and kicked-up ends gave Rihanna's new color a sophisticated edge.
Stars were dressed to rock and shock at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday night, wearing the best, worst & wackiest fashions out there. RadarOnline.com is bringing you all of the wardrobe winners and sinners in this special fashion feature.
PHOTOS: The Best, Worst & Wackiest Fashions Of The 2011 Grammy Awards
The glam factor was at an all time high, as stars shimmered and glimmered in magnificent metallics. Our favorite look of the night was courtesy of Jennifer Lopez, who really brought out the bombshell in an uber-mini silver Emilio Pucci dress, which she paired with embellished Christian Louboutin heels.

And we love Eva Longoria, but her black and white ruffle and bustle mini dress really failed to flatter her totally hot body. The Desperate Housewife, who spent her day primping with Kim Kardashian (who definitely scored the Grammy gold in her bombshell Kaufman Franco gown) finished off the losing look with oversized chandelier earrings and boring black pumps.

There was definitely a lot of wackiness going on! While Lady Gaga definitely made the wackiest wardrobe choice of the evening, getting carried onto the red carpet encapsulated in a giant egg, Nicki Minaj managed to be a close second by wearing leopard from head to toe. The sassy singer was clad in a totally crazy Givenchy leopard print bodysuit, pairing the custom creation with a headdress-like blond wig, which featured a streak of black. And then how about Katy Perry, in her ultra-sexy and ethereal Armani Prive getup, which she accessorized with angel wings?
PHOTOS: The Best, Worst & Wackiest Grammy Fashions Over The Years
As for the Disney demo, Miley Cyrus brought on the boho glam in a tiger-sequinned Roberto Cavalli gown, while Selena Gomez sizzled in liquid gold J. Mendel slipgown. We weren't feeling the fever when it came to Justin Bieber's getup. The 16-year-old heartthrob paired his white velvet D&G three piece suit with…sneakers?
Jennifer Hudson did a great job showing off her size six body in a stunning Versace gown, finishing the look off with Christian Louboutin heels and Neil Lane bling, while Rihanna showed off a little too much of hers in a totally exposing Jean Paul Gaultier number.
Who else rocked and shocked on the fashion front on the red carpet of the 2011 Grammy Awards?

So Season 3 has come to an end! I'm happy to have it behind me. I've been hard at work, but I've obviously been on these ladies' mind. There are so many issues I could address over the past few weeks with these ladies, but I choose not to because it's easy to attack and judge! Those of you who have formed an opinion, nothing I say will change that! For those of you who love me, you will continue to do so. These ladies have apparently formed an alliance except for Cynthia who happens to have a brain of her own. I don't have the energy nor do I have the time to stoop to their level of ignorance. I understand that everything about me is under attack, from the color of my polish to the style of my shoes, because I'm a threat! I refuse to follow the leader. I am the leader! I have a take charge attitude so that makes me fierce competition. Life is about changing for the better, becoming the very best, learning from your mistakes and doing it better the next time around. So if I attack back that would make me appear low. I'm a star in the sky so I'll just stay up high because through it all, I'm still standing! Thanks for all the comments, the good and the bad. FYI: Check me out on the new season of Celebrity Apprentice March 6th.
WOULD YOU WEAR THIS?
Inspired by plant life, Christian Siriano‘s fall show featured a palette of moss green, mauve pink, and muted blacks. “The original inspiration came from these photographs of black orchids, which are called Dracula Orchids,” the designer told us backstage. “They’re a bit creepy and a bit dark, yet very ethereal and quite romantic.” The interpretation was as literal (with laser-cut flower details) as it was imaginative (dresses looked like they had petals and leaves). The show also offered a preview of his new collection for Payless, with gold hardware and five-inch heels, which made some models wobble on the runway. See Christian Siriano’s complete collection for fall in the gallery on instyle magazine online.
They have already taken L.A. and Miami, and now the Kardashian sisters have conquered the Big Apple. As their newest show, Kourtney & Kim Take New York, launches, OK! shares all the inside deets on TV’s three most stylin’ sisters — where they shop, what they buy and how the city affects their shopping choices. Top fashion designer Marc Bouwer, who works with Kim and lives in Manhattan, tells OK!, “Most people change a bit when they come here. New York is the center of fashion — and it’s more fashion-forward. You stand up straighter and you walk with a more sophisticated stance — even if your shoe of choice in the city is like Kourtney ’s: a boot instead of six-inch heels!”
Akon may have said Lady Gaga’s not “just making dance records,” but her new song “Born This Way” definitely sounds like a dancefloor winner!
OK! NEWS: “BORN THIS WAY” BY LADY GAGA EARNS AKON’S TOP PRAISE
“It doesn’t matter if you love him or capital H-I-M because you were born this way, baby,”Gaga sings at the beginning of the new song.
Lady Gaga was originally planning on premiering the track at the Grammys on Sunday, but she decided to release it two days early for his Little Monsters.

Ms. Hallie is slated to appear on an upcoming Oscar-themed episode of “The Simpsons.” The episode, titled “Angry Dad: The Movie,” is scheduled to air on February 20th.
Berry will be shown presenting an award to Bart Simpson while wearing the same dress she wore when she accepted her Academy Award in 2002.
“Halle starts talking about herself as she’s presenting,” says “Simpsons writer Al Jean. “She ad-libbed something she actually dreams about at night that we left in.”
But how will the stunningly beautiful actress look as a character on the long-running animated series?
Listen here, reality TV fans, this week's celebrity feud is for you. Star Jones and Real Housewives star NeNe Leakes are both known for being divas, so when Donald Trump announced that they'd be contestants on the next season of The Apprentice, the writing was on the wall: These two are going to throw down!
The show hasn't even aired yet, and already details about Star and NeNe's catfights are everywhere. When NeNe recently stopped by The Wendy Williams Show, she revealed, "I'm not feeling Star Jones, I'm sorry. I gave her a chance when I first got there, I did, but Star...is a trip. She is very special...I wouldn't spit on Star if she was on fire." Fighting words!
As for Star, when a Twitter follower of hers recently asked what she thinks of NeNe, Star shot back, "I don't."
Lord, can we all get along!
The report outlines Lindsay's every move -- from the time she walked into the store to the time she left -- and it's all on surveillance video.
According to the report, Lindsay walked in and removed her necklaces and placed them on the counter. The report says, "Ms. Lohan then proceeds to try on numerous rings and three different necklaces including the missing yellow diamond necklace."
The police report then says Lindsay continued shopping while wearing the yellow necklace.
Lindsay Lohan was trying on a slew of jewelry before walking out of the store with the $2,500 necklace ... this according to the police report obtained by TMZ.
Then, at 6:12 PM, the owner locked the store but let Lindsay and her friend Patrick continue to shop. That's when Lindsay tried negotiating a ring she had been eyeing, but she didn't like the $3,600 price tag. Lindsay took $3,000 cash out of her purse and offered it in exchange for the ring, but the owner said no. Lindsay then said, "Ok, we'll come back tomorrow."
When Lindsay prepared to leave the store, she put her own necklaces back on her neck, along with the yellow necklace in question ... then walked out of the store.
The owner noticed a short time after Lindsay left that the yellow necklace was missing, but figured she took it by mistake and would bring it back the next day. Lindsay never returned to the store.
Former "American Idol" winner and current VH1 reality star Fantasia Barrino is ready to try her hand at the silver screen, landing the lead role in an upcoming biopic of the late legendary gospel singer Mahalia Jackson.
As reported by Popeater.com, the film will chronicle the Jackson's life from her poverty-stricken childhood in New Orleans to her rise to fame as one of gospel's first superstars. The biopic will also cover her time as a civil rights advocate and supporter of Martin Luther King Jr.
This will mark Barrino’s first return to film since she first starred in the Lifetime TV film adaptation of her autobiography “My Life Is Not a Fairytale” in 2006.
That same year, Barrino, 26, showed her acting chops on the Broadway stage, starring as Celie in Oprah’s landmark production of The Color Purple.
Barrino, who’s no novice to the ups and downs of superstardom, has a wellspring of personal experience to pull from when playing Jackson.
Over the years, Barrino has dealt with career damaging family issues on screen on her VH1 reality show, "Fantasia for Real," and financial issues that left her on Oprah’s couch confessing that at one time she couldn’t even afford a box of pizza.
Just last year, the singer was caught in an intense media scandal surrounding her affair with a married man, Antwuan Cook, that resulted in a suicide attempt by the singer.
This is one moive I would love to see! Congrats, Fan!

Grammy Fever!Talk about “Fireworks”! Katy Perry created a purple reign while launching her new perfume in Mexico City. First, she attended Purr’s press conference in a lilac sequined one-shoulder Nikolaki mini with draping at the bodice. She then headed over to Perisur Mall, where she greeted more than ten thousand fans in another high-shine confetti look with sheer paneling at the waist and shoulder. The grand finale came when the 26-year-old performer graced the launch party’s purple carpet wearing a racy, plunging Georges Hobeika Couture jewel-tone frock with even more sparkle! It’s not the first time Katy Perry‘s had to play outfit mixmaster in one day. Last summer, she donned three unique dresses while promoting her new album in New York. Perry’s never short on daring when it comes to her wardrobe picks, but we want to know what you think.
Last night at Madison Square Garden, Prince did what so many of us want to do, but simply cannot do: make Kim Kardashian go away. At the end of each of the singer's Welcome 2 America concerts in New York, he's invited VIPs onstage to dance -- and in Cyndi Lauper's case, belt a few notes. Yesterday one of his stellar backup singers took Kim by the hand and led her onstage, saying, "Look who I got." Prince busted a move; Kim stood and laughed. So he dismissed her with a neck-snapping, "Get off the stage!" as the crowd roared. "Welcome 2 America," he added, scanning the audience for another girl who "can get busy."
Stars who have successfully boogied with Prince at MSG include Sherri Sheppard, Naomi Campbell, Alicia Keys, Whoopi Goldberg, Jamie Foxx, Tavis Smiley, Cornel West, and Spike Lee. Yes, Sherri Sheppard, the same woman who horrified Prince on national TV by proclaiming on "The View," "I have wanted to make love to you for my whole life." He's even serenaded Leighton Meester with "I Love You But I Don't Trust You Anymore."
Kim's defense, mounted on Twitter (of course): "I was so nervous I froze when Prince touched me!" She added that the Purple One gave her another chance, and she did, indeed, get funky. "This time I redeemed myself! We all danced while Prince played the piano! Wow! What a night!"
In truth, she should feel honored -- because of Prince's staunch anti-Internet stance, no fresh footage of him has managed to hit the web in years. In 2007, the singer even got into a fight with his fans when he pulled down images of everything from Prince-inspired tattoos to photos of his album covers -- and when his devotees got angry, he wrote a funky diss track called "PFUnk" that includes the line, "I love all y'all, don't you ever mess with me no more." Thanks to the Kardashian smackdown, we got another glimpse of our favorite funkateer in action!
