BREAKING NEWS: Mariah Carey Gives Birth to Twins!

Mariah Carey is a brand-new mommy!
The singer, 42, and her husband Nick Cannon welcomed their twin son and daughter on Saturday -- their fourth wedding anniversary! -- at an L.A. hospital at 12:07 p.m., her rep confirms to Us Weekly.
According to Berger, the baby girl was born first, weighing 5 pounds, 3 ounces, measuring 8 inches long; her brother followed, weighing 5 pounds 6 ounces, and was 19 inches.

Carey and Cannon, 30, have not yet named their kids. Cannon rushed his wife to the hospital in their Rolls-Royce Phantom; the Grammy-winning singer was calm, assuming it was another false labor incident. When they arrived, Berger told the Associated Press, the first-time Dad was so nervous that he went to the wrong unit in the hospital, and had to be guided to the maternity ward by a nurse.
"It was right out of an I Love Lucy skit," Berger said.  The couple had musical accompaniment as Carey delivered their kids: "We Belong Together," Carey's smash #1 single from 2006.
The twins' birth was a long time coming for the couple, who took a March 27 trip to the hospital when Carey started experiencing contractions.
"The thing with twins is that you want them in their natural incubator as long as possible," Cannon, 30, told theLos Angeles Times after the hospital visit. "They might be ready to come out, but we need them to stay in for a while."
Prior to his twins' arrival, Cannon was nervous about how he'd do in the delivery room.
"I am probably going to faint in the delivery room! I need to man up!" the America's Got Talent and radio hosttweeted. "Or maybe I should say WOMAN UP since they are the ones that have to be the strongest in the whole ordeal! I am in awe of my wife!"
Cannon confirmed in December that his wife was carrying twins (They first broke the news to PresidentBarack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama at a holiday event in Washington, D.C.)
The first-time parents opened up to Us Weekly in November about their struggle to conceive following a heartbreaking miscarriage. "We definitely cried" upon learning of her successful pregnancy, Cannon told Us. "We still cry all the time. It's an emotional journey.
