Danielle Staub Reveals Her Suicidal Past
Former Real Housewives of New Jersey star Danielle Staub has never been one to shy away from drama, and now she is revealing even more about her scandalous past. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight that aired on August 17, the new star of VH1's Famous Food shared one of her darkest moments. "I was very close to taking my own life — not just on one occasion — it's been several times," she said. "And what always saved me was the thought of my children living with that for the rest of their lives."
The 49-year-old revealed her candid views in the wake of the suicide of Taylor Armstrong's estranged husband, Russell. "There's so much hate in this world, and I just hope that his children and Taylor, and his ex-wife as well, all know that my genuine heartfelt sympathy and empathy, especially empathy, is with them at this time and always."
