Pat and Gina Neely Feed The Big Apple!

Your favorite barbecue-loving southern couple is moving on up, to the East Side! The Food Network’s husband and wife team – Pat and Gina Neely, who host Down Home With the Neelys, have opened a southern-style restaurant in the Big Apple! Neely’s Barbecue Parlor is located on New York City’s posh Upper East Side neighborhood. But home cooking isn’t all that’s on the menu -- the Neelys hope to have the space as a lovers' hideaway!

Pat explained, “[This restaurant location] gives us some comfort, which is more of a neighborhood vibe. Like our place in Memphis. It’s also a quiet place that Gina and I can enjoy. So there’s some selfishness there, we want to be able to come eat and cuddle here.”

The forever doting wife, Gina replied, “Pat and I are really down-home people, we’re like good friends. So, if I’m not with him, it feels like something is truly missing.”

Don’t be surprised if you see the two former high school sweethearts playing kissy face while you’re on your second helping of yummy ribs!

Nicole Scherzinger's PussyCat Doll Drama!

nicoles1_wide.jpg
Nicole Scherzinger may have left The Pussycat Dolls a year ago, but it looks like there is still some beef with the group's founder, Robin Antin.

According to an insider, "On July 6, Kim Kardashian was celebrating Robin's birthday with her at Soho House New York, and Nicole was sitting two tables away from them." The insider adds that Robin and Kim did not acknowledge Nicole, and the new X-Factor judge did not pay attention to her former boss, either.

Another insider tells In Touch exclusively, "Robin has moved on. She has already cast her new lineup of The Pussycat Dolls and they are launching in December."

Oprah is back in the USA after spending time at the school she opened in South Africa. Oprah’s previous job title may fall somewhere along the lines of talk show host, but in reality she was a teacher and inspiration to many. She returns to the USA with new wisdom for her “girls” in South Africa… and a new job description.

Oprah revealed that she would be returning this fall to teach a class called 'It's Life 101' about all the stuff she wished someone had told her about how the world really works, Popeater reports.

"Should be fun since I love to teach. And they're like sponges," Oprah said. "Like 12th graders everywhere, this first class is both anxious and excited about going to college. Most will be the first in their family. So it's a very big deal for them, and they're feeling the pressure."

Beyoncé Shows Her Patriotic Side

While fascination with the British royalty continues to grow — especially with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arriving in Los Angeles on July 8 — it was nice to see some good old-fashioned American patriotism on the Fourth of July. Brad Paisley, Katy Perry, Jennifer Hudson and Beyoncé were just a few of the A-list singers to perform during the Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks display.

Beyonce — who is tight with first lady Michelle Obama thanks to their campaign against hildhood obesity — belted her new single "Best Thing I Never Had" and "God Bless the USA" with the Statue of Liberty in the background. Usually the 29-year-old star’s skimpy body suits take center stage, but she toned down her look last night by choosing an elegant black gown and stunning red jewels. The only downfall was her distracting curls that kept bouncing with each gust of wind.

Last week, Specific Media welcomed Justin Timberlake as part-owner and the sole creative force driving their effort to revive the indigent Myspace.

Accordingly, Justin’s manager, Johnny Wright, told New York Daily Newshe has high hopes Justin’s involvement will help bring the music focus back to the social networking platform.

“There is a need for a place where fans can go to interact with their favorite entertainers, listen to music... and just connect,” Justin, The Social Network actor, told PopEater. “Myspace has the potential to be that place.”

While PopEater reported on a rumor, Myspace will be used to generate a talent competition, but neither Justin nor Johnny divulged any further details of exactly what they have in store.

Will Justin be able to revamp Myspace and make Specific Media’s $35 million purchase worthwhile? Only time will tell.
