Paula speaks about Robin and their relationship....

With the exception of her big announcement, Paula Patton has been fairly mute regarding her separation from husband, Robin Thicke.

“We will always love each other and be best friends, however, we have mutually decided to separate at this time,” Paula said in a statement a few months ago.

But during a recent interview with Vanity Fair, the “Baggage Claim” actress offered a tiny bit of insight into how she’s feeling about it all. Though she wouldn’t confirm whether or not there’s a chance for reconciliation, she did confess that she loves Robin deeply.

“We’ve known each other since we were teenagers. All I can tell you is there’s a deep love there—always was, and always will be.”

The estranged couple met as teenagers in Los Angeles at an 18-and-under nightclub, when she was 15 and he was 14. They each fondly remember that before their first kiss, which took place in Alan Thicke’s living room, Robin serenaded her with his rendition of Jodeci’s “Forever My Lady.” Though Paula says Robin wasn’t her first kiss, she admits that they shared a few other “first” experiences together.

“He wasn’t my first kiss,” she said, “but he was my first lots of other things.”

It really appears that Paula’s mind is made up and it doesn’t really seem like she is too interested in reuniting with Robin. But maybe she’s just trying to keep the public out of their business.
