5 Things to Know About Khloé Kardashian's New Man, French Montana

Khloé Kardashian seems to have a new man in her life.

In the past few weeks, Kardashian, 29, who filed for divorce from Lamar Odom last year, has been photographed out and about with Moroccan rapper French Montana. On Monday night, the two wore matching white ensembles to dinner at Crustacean in Beverly Hills, one night after they dined together at Philippe Chow. And, just a few days earlier, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star brought her new beau to dinner at Cecconi's with her sister, Kourtney, and Scott Disick. While a rep for Kardashian did not respond to request for comment, it certainly seems like there's a romance blossoming.

So who is French Montana? Here are five things to know.

He's Moroccan

The rapper, 29, is from Morocco and moved to the U.S. when he was 13. Though his real name is Karim Kharbouch, he performs under the name "French," as an homage to his roots. The last name "Montana" is a reference to Tony Montana, he told Status magazine.

2. He's Worked with a Who's Who of Musicians

Montana's first album, "Excuse My French" debuted at the top of the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart in 2013, according to Billboard, and it features everyone from Diddy to Drake to Kanye West. He's also featured on one of Jennifer Lopez's new songs, "I Luh Ya Papi."

3. He Loves Fashion

Not only has Montana worked with Kardashian's future brother-in-law, Kanye West, but he shares West's love of style. "I had always been passionate about fashion, but now I have the means to invest even more," he told Status magazine. "I am really into Versace, I wear a lot of their silks. I also like the classic houses like Fendi and Gucci and also Louis Vuitton. The shoe game is proper, but my favorite shoes ever have to be the blue Penny Hardaways. I’ve also been wearing YSL shoes a lot lately."

4. He's Trilingual

He has a multicultural background, so it makes sense that Montana has the ability to speak several languages. He told Status that he speaks English, French and Arabic. "I can definitely curse in French!" he said.

5.He's Been Married and Has a Child

Montana reportedly got married at 22, but split from his wife a few years later. "You're moving and you're not the same person because you're so busy doing what you're doing," he explained to MTV. "It's unexplainable. It just happens." He added that he does provide for their son: "That's the weight off my shoulders. I can sleep good."
