Ciara has a wedding in her future!
The R&B singer, 28, and her beau of one year, rapper-producer Future (real name: Nayvadius Wilburn), 29, are engaged to be married, their rep confirms to PEOPLE.
"Future surprised Ciara with an engagement ring this weekend, also her birthday weekend, in New York City," said the couple's publicist, Chris Chambers.
"The ring, which doubled as a special birthday gift, is a beautiful 15-carat emerald cut diamond designed by Avianne & Co."

In August, the rapper said he was ready to settle down with his girlfriend, telling Hot 97's Angie Martinez, "I don't get into nothing to get out. We haven't set a date. This the one. I said it before, I said it seven years ago, so for it to come around and happen, it was just meant to be."
This will be the first marriage for both.
