Slow Jam The News with Barack Obama: Late Night with Jimmy Fallon
The President was a guest on NBC’s “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” Tuesday night, but he surprised the audience by joining Fallon and house band The Roots during the show’s popular “Slow Jam the News” segment.
“I’m President Barack Obama and I too want to slow jam the news,” the POTUS announced to a rousing crowd at the University of North Carolina, where Fallon taped the show. President Obama had delivered a speech at UNC earlier in the day about student loans, urging Congress to extend a low-interest rate provision.
“Now is not the time to make school more expensive for our young people,” Obama said. Then Fallon chimed in hilariously: “Ohhhh yeaahh. You should listen to the president.”
Here’s your reassurance that we have the coolest president ever!
